Photo BDB Lite - Various paths to check application status
Posted by: Vidyashree Bhosale - 05-31-2019, 11:36 AM - Forum: BDB Lite - Installation - No Replies

1. Once the installation process is complete and when we click on the shortcut icon of lite, the page comes up as shown in the below image and we need to click on start server to start  the lite.

.png   BDBStartServerImg.PNG (Size: 33.2 KB / Downloads: 505)

2 . BDBLite Home Page URL :

http://bdblite.com:10000/home/#/signin

.png   BDBLiteHomePage.PNG (Size: 99.44 KB / Downloads: 518)

After the server gets started it will be redirected to this URL and logs in with the credentials passed during the first time installation.

.png   BDBLiteClickHereToLogin.PNG (Size: 33.98 KB / Downloads: 497)

Note : If user has closed the window by mistake, we can click on "Click Here To Login" to re-launch the application on browser.

3. CXF-URL :

http://bdblite.com:10000/cxf/

.png   CXF.PNG (Size: 67.16 KB / Downloads: 582)

This URL let us know whether services are up or not, we can check available RESTful services.

Note: In Task Manager we can see processes running like nginx, python.

.png   Processes.PNG (Size: 81.19 KB / Downloads: 586)

4. Checking Elastic Server indices:

a. http://bdblite.com:10000/bvzes/_cat/indices?v

.png   ElasticURL.PNG (Size: 66.67 KB / Downloads: 564)

Above is the BDBLite Elastic URL where we can find datastore indices, count of data written into elastic, indices version etc.

b. http://bdblite.com:10000/bvzes/1081344v1...000&pretty

.png   ElasticURL2.PNG (Size: 38.52 KB / Downloads: 588)

This URL displays the data in JSON format in elastic for the respective index. We need to pass the corresponding datastore index to validate data in elastic.

5.AMQ :

http://bdblite.com:10000/admin/queues.jsp

.png   ActiveAMQ.PNG (Size: 89.9 KB / Downloads: 566)

whenever we create/refresh datastore then in this url we can see request sent to AMQ and one count will be increased in  “Messages Enqueued” column of “bizvizmq” Queue. Once the refresh process is completed then count will be increased in “Messages Dequeued” ie, data will be written into the elastic once it gets moved from enqueue to deque.

How to import Custom Charts into a dashboard
Posted by: raghvendra.singh - 05-29-2019, 11:42 AM - Forum: BDB - Designer - No Replies

The custom component in the designer will enable users to add any third-party visual-components like charts/ grids/ gauges etc. into the dashboard, which can consume data from our inbuilt BDB connectors.

Configuration Steps:

  1. Drag and drop custom chart in designer area.
  2. Double click on it will open property palette, Go to General section.
    • Click on Source Path icon, add the source paths of required JavaScript and CSS files.
    • Click on Source Content icon will open an editor. In the HTML tab, add the html elements where the chart will be rendered or if additional html elements are required. In the CSS tab, add the required styles for formatting of chart’s elements. In the JS tab, add the script configuration code and configure the events callback etc. required in this chart.
  3. A variable bizvizchart as reference to the Custom-Chart object is available to use in the custom-script.
  4. By using bizvizchart reference, we can access the data and other properties of the custom-chart which are configured in the property palette.
  5. Example: bizvizchart.getData(), bizvizchart.getFields(), bizvizchart.getWidth(), bizvizchart.getHeight().
